Would you want $200,000 right now or $250,000 in a year? It’s safe to assume all money is tax free. In my experience so far, no money is tax free. But to answer the question, I would take the $200,000 now. I might not be around in a year. Not that I have any plans but, you never know.
Is it more important to love or be loved? I’ve been on both sides of that question and I’ll tell you it’s a lot easier being loved. No commitment, no hurt or heartache. But why can’t it be a reciprocal endeavor? I love you, you love me.
List things that represent abundance to you. Let me go back to the question above. If you love and are loved in return, that is an abundance. Food on the table, clean water to drink and air to breathe would be an abundance. Many people make do with even less than what we might consider bare necessities.
What inspired you this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. Not what, but who! Janice of jfeyersforman photography, in a comment on my post of last Friday, September 8, titled In Retrospect: Sloan NV, said “…. it looks like you could do some interesting Film Noir type images!” I love film noir. And that comment has inspired me to look into possibly a series of film noir type photos. For those of you who are not familiar with the term, film noir is associated with a low key, black and white visual style that has roots in German Expressionist cinematography. Lots of deep, dark shadows. I’m going to start experimenting with that look on some of my existing photos as well as some new shots. I’ll keep you posted. And thanks, Janice!
