A Few Words

I’ve wanted to try this for a while now, telling a story in very few words. There are so many challenges on wordpress that limit a writer to 100 or 150 words. That fits with my short attention span. So here is my first story courtesy of Mondays Finish The Story. You are given a photo and a first sentence as prompts. It seems the photo is more or less ignored but the first sentence must be used and the story finished within 100 to 150 additional words.

The team employed the use of Nightshade to get the information they wanted from their captive. Tomas was the first to search the internet and compound their shopping list of foods belonging to the nightshade family. It was easier than they thought to administer. Macello was the chef. They fed the captive every  form they could think of; eggplant parmigiana, potatoes au gratin, tomato bisque, stuffed bell peppers, all seasoned with smoked paprika, crushed red pepper flakes, and cayenne. He didn’t give them much information but he was well fed and gaining weight on them fast. Also, there was the occasional problem with the passing of gas, which they all tried to attend to with varying results.
