    1. I agree about not sneezing around this structure! 🙂 The color of the roof was a bit more grey in reality. I think it is reflecting some of the blue in the sky. Either that or the camera saw it that way!

  1. Its sad that it has gotten to this state of disrepair. I am from Iowa originally and there is at least one organization I know of devoted to saving and restoring old barns. Farmers never build wooden barns any longer, they are all metal Morton buildings, with little character.

  2. Love all of your photos, Emilio, even though I don’t comment often. I like your special way of “coloring” your photo and always looking forward to seeing one in my readers. 😉
I think I like the colored one better in this photo… still trying to figure out why.. 😉
    Have a great day.

  3. Thank you, Helen. I’m the same way with so many blogs I follow. No comment. Most times I’m just too rushed. Like now. I have so much work to do. Real work that I get paid for. What am I doing on wordpress?

  4. Somebody will reuse that roof. That kind of material is too valuable to waste. Bet the timber gets repurposed too. Lost of people love old wood and use it for siding. It give your new house that “old barn” look. Great shot!

    1. Thanks, Marilyn. I love old barn wood and would love to get my hands on some. But we have always left a place like this as we find it. Only once did we pick up any wood and that was out in the middle of the desert.
