      1. You might have to write a post about the drama Emilio πŸ˜€ If you are able to get a show called Fawlty Towers on demand its histerical. They only made about 10 episodes and it is classic John Cleese.

    1. Our Thanksgiving almost didn’t happen. Up until the night before everyone was fighting and saying there was not to be a dinner. And here we had this gigantic dead bird in our refrigerator. But Wednesday night it was back on and Lynn started cooking at 6:30 Thanksgiving morning. The turkey was done 2 hours early but no one dared complain!

    1. Wonderful and Thanksgiving are two words that I find are usually mutually exclusive. It was OK. I won’t commit to more than that. Hope yours was good. I have a question: All those fantastic shots at night in NY and inside building when you were there or in San Francisco- all hand held? High ISO? What? We’re traveling next week and I need some advice! I’m only taking the Fuji and still not 100% comfortable with it. Thanks.

      1. Sorry to hear and I won’t ask. As for the particulars of my shots, most in-building shots are handheld at high ISOs and wide open apertures (I usually won’t go above 3200 and like to try to keep it at 1600). The ones from inside the SF Ferry Building, though, were with a tripod. Without knowing which NYC night shots you’re referring to, I can only say it is a mixture. I do usually carry my tripod in NYC, but this last trip I did not since I was focusing more on street photography. Everything I shot then was handheld. Does that help?

        And where are you going??

    1. Thanks, Cybele. I didn’t see this till now. Hope your Christmas or whatever you might celebrate- if you celebrate- will be a pleasant one. We don’t really celebrate except for visiting little kids we know. We’ve also tried each year to hit the streets and bring some holiday cheer to the homeless.
