  1. Great photo for the theme.
I tried to take a similar kind of picture a while back and discovered it was a lot harder than it looks.

What I found interesting in your photo is the dirt path (road) that runs like a ribbon along the power line as far as the eye can see!

    1. Yes. I can only imagine that is for a utility truck. In case something goes wrong. But I haven’t ever noticed a road like that before in other areas. I’m going to have to be more observant in the future.

    1. Thanks, Sue. I’m sure I’m cheating with this Photo 101 course. They give you a word each day and, I think, you’re supposed to go out, take a new photo, and post it the next day. The problem is they give you the new word around 8 pm my time so I’ve been going into my archives for the posts. At least the quotes are new.

  2. I did the photo 101 on the first go around. I find it interesting that they are using the same words all the way through as they did then. If you want some insight into what is to come I will gladly share, then you would have time to “Capture” in the moment.
This is a great interpretation of this word, the quote the photograph, it works so well!

      1. Well…I don’t know? I guess maybe. I was frustrated at the format and lack of depth to the class. Coupled with the short time frame to produce images, some very challenging in their theme. So, I dipped into archives almost the entire time which I wasn’t happy about. It is fun to see everyone’s take on these themes and I am really enjoying your work. So, maybe I should have just said nothing…sorry :/ It just feels to me, if you were given a 3 to 5 day grouping of subjects you could actually take the images when you see them and learn something in the process which is what I am always looking for…a new learning opportunity. ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Don’t be sorry. I actually liked your suggestion and was only joking about cheating. But you’re right. They should give you the word a few days before, not a few hours before. I am thinking about starting a word prompt for photographers that is a little different but yet the same. Don’t know if it will be worth it as there are so many challenges. But after this Photo 101 is over I might announce it. Or forget it. We’ll see.

          1. Well in that case, here you go ๐Ÿ™‚ Tomorrow will be Landmark, then The Natural World and finally for a 3 day round off, Warmth. Enjoy! Maybe it will help you “see” something in real time instead of dipping into what you already have seen. Or maybe they throw a curve ball and then, you are back where you started ๐Ÿ™‚
