I’m An Introvert Sunday

“I’m an introvert… I love being by myself, love being outdoors, love taking a long walk with my dogs and looking at the trees, flowers, the sky.” ~~ Audrey Hepburn

Are you an introvert? How do you spend your Sundays? Or more importantly, how would you like to spend your Sunday?

This post was inspired by Chris A. Donner’s blog 61 Musings– though she doesn’t even know it!

    1. Thanks. I worked on it quite awhile in lightroom, something my friend M-R normally hates. But even she seemed to like it. So maybe I’ll start a new style. I just enjoy fooling around in lightroom almost as much as shooting!

  1. A new theme, Emilio ! – I shall need to get used to it: we oldies are resistant to change. 😉 The photo is sublime (which doesn’t surprise me in the least, of course); but from whence comes the word ‘gallery’ ????

    1. Beats me. I just changed it because my photos were not coming up as large as I wanted them. I’ll be playing around with this theme and maybe even changing it again. Who knows? Just trying to keep you on your toes!

  2. Emilio photo draws me in; I want to see what is around the corner. Fantastic. So sorry though ….extreme extrovert here. I would want to meet people on the path. 🙂

  3. What a stunning shot Emilio! I would just love to go on a walk there with Simba. I am sure you will find my hubby flyfishing somewhere around where there is a lake. 😆 I am an introvert when it comes to people and places and can’t take photo’s when there are strangers or too many people around me. They make me nervous. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Sonel. I think I’ve gotten over people making me nervous when I want to shoot. But taking photos of people? Forget it. We had an exercise once where we had to make contact with a stranger on the street and ask to take their photo. I failed that test.

      1. I’m still not there Emilio … maybe one day. 😆 Taking photo’s of people is also something I don’t do much. I will take photo’s of hubby and of people I know, but more for fun. In fact, photography is more fun to me than anything else, but I am no street or portrait photo-taker.

LOL! I don’t blame you. Around here there are so many things I see that I want to take photo’s of, but I don’t like to take photo’s of stuff that belongs to others and I would die first before I ask them if I can take a photo. I’ve had some bad experiences with people like that and since then I don’t take photo’s if I know I have to ask permission. 😀

  4. Good morning, Emilio. I, too, love the new theme. It’s very clean and your photo shows up so much better than it would have on the old one. Great photo, too, fill with invitation. I think I’m a combination of introvert and extrovert. I love people, but I also need alone time and time outside with nature. I love being on vacation in the mountains, walking by myself, sitting on the porch with a cup of tea before anyone else is awake, etc.

    Blessings on your week!

    1. I read on Chris Donner’s blog, I think, that extroverts take energy from other people. Introverts give their energy to others and must retreat to re- invigorate themselves. Something like that. It made absolute sense when I read it.

  5. When I was younger I was a shy and definitely introvert person(always foolishly trying to hide what was very obvious) but now I must say, I deal with it better. I think everyone has its own character, points of view and faces life in a different way what we should consider is that life is better when you share your state of being or feelings with others, it helps you and people around you as well. By the way, thank you for trying to make my recipe, you were right I didn’t specify the amount of water you have to use in it. I hope you will like my next recipes! 🙂
    Best wishes,

    1. I really enjoyed that soup. So did my wife, except she added some spice in her bowl. I now have to search your other recipes for something new to try (can you tell I’m the cook in the family? My wife cleans up after me. It seems to work out well.)
