Wordless WednesdayThere are so many sights with the title “Wordless Wednesday”. The first one I came to was on Blogger.com. I will add a list below as I come to them.

Most of these below are not so “wordless”.

  1. Happy New Year!

I’d like to invite you to take part in my CBBH Photo Challenge which is announced on the first day of each month. This month’s theme is STREET ART.

    1. Thank you. I will check your blog for rules and such. I was going to go out this weekend searching for some graffiti. We have First Friday where the streets in the art district downtown are closed to traffic and the galleries stay open late. There is usually food and music, too.

  2. I thought this caught the desolation and just the ‘brokenness’ of the machine very very well.
Not sure about your comment about sadness and landscapes; your wind farm and Yosemite pictures do not feel sad to me at all. Maybe it is partly about b/w pictures too?

    1. Even though I am not usually a sad person, whenever I do need it, I receive solace and comfort in nature. And from my wife. Maybe sad was the wrong word to use in describing landscapes. Maybe I am confusing it with a feeling of well-being. I am not good with the words to describe what I mean. Maybe someone can help. Let me say that when my mother died in 2001, I left friends and family and went out into nature to gain perspective. It has helped so many times. Whenever something troubles me or I have a problem to solve, I seek nature. Good thing my wife is not jealous!
