Look Up, Look Down Challenge, Week 18

I-80 Somewhere in Nebraska

On the second day of our return home by car from Elgin IL we spotted this abandoned Church out of the side of the I-80 Freeway somewhere in Nebraska.  The dirt road was invaded by weeds, and isolated with the chains that we climbed above, so we walked about ten minutes for the Church in the middle of a field. We spent a good hour to climb in and out and around, take pictures from every angle imaginable.

Look up, look down look at Travel with Intent‘s blog for more of this challenge.

  1. What a great shot, just perfect in sepia. Funnily enough, I have been experimenting with sepia this week and you’ll see some of the results on my blog over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for joining the Up Down challenge – see you again next week I hope. Debbie

    1. Thanks but I’m not really sure it’s sepia. I was experiencing new duo-tone combinations. I tend to use way too much blue and yellow. This was the yellow for the lights and closer to a red for the shadows. Then both were turned down. I’m glad you like it. Thank you again.
