We were coming home from a day trip when two beaten old cars, looking as if they had been made by hand, crossed our path. Being spontaneous, we followed. They pulled into the dirt driveway of a house in the heart of a depopulated area. There were about twenty cars all around. You could hear the loud music coming from the pool over the fence. As the guys got out of their car to attend the celebration, we asked if we could check their cars and maybe take some photos. They agreed. Next to the house was this replica of a gas station with old cars and motorbikes and signs. It was around 4 and the sun was just starting to set. The color shots that I took all looked nice and it was difficult to decide. But then I converted a shot in black and white in Lightroom and loved it. This is the shot.
